EVERSANA, a leading provider of global commercial services to the life sciences industry, is expanding its pharmaceutical third-party logistics (3PL) operations with a new 358,000-square-foot distribution center in Memphis, Tennessee, expanded cold chain capacity and new warehouse automation technology.
As part of the expansion, EVERSANA is deploying Datex’s warehouse management system (WMS) alongside AI-enabled robotics from Locus Robotics. According to EVERSANA, the technologies will be deployed across its 3PL facilities to improve warehouse accuracy, throughput and operational efficiency while reducing manually intensive activities.
The expansion brings EVERSANA’s total 3PL footprint to more than 1.25 million square feet and adds 30,000 square feet of refrigerated and frozen storage capacity to support growing pharmaceutical, biologics and complex therapeutics distribution needs.
